In May, Beatriz Q. Silva attended Green Food Tech 2023, the international conference on green and sustainable technologies in the food industry, and was awarded the Resilience Award for her presentation on the “Environmental impact associated with the cultivation of underutilized crops vs. commercial counterparts – A case study of black (Desi) and white (Kabuli) chickpeas cultivation.”
