What a way to start! In the iAlgaePro project, the German Institute of Food Technologies (DIL), the Institute of Food and Environmental Research (ILU) and the Belgian partner VITO (Vlaamse Instelling Voor Technologische Onderzoek) examine the opportunities for the development of innovative ways of algae processing based on the „Mesh-Ultra-Thin-Layer“-Technology, membrane-based harvesting processes, pulsed electric fields as well as novel separation and extraction methods.
