On August 21 and 22, 2025, the DIL Deutsches Institut für Lebensmitteltechnik e. V. together with Niedersachsen.next Startup is offering an online food law consultation for food start-ups. Founders and start-ups from the food sector receive a free 1:1 consultation to obtain sound legal advice on their products or technological developments.

Whether questions about labeling, health claims, product protection, novel food or other food law requirements - specialist lawyer Prof. Dr. Markus Grube will answer them individually in a 50-minute appointment. The consultation takes place online and is aimed specifically at players in the food industry in the early development phase.

The consultation is part of the startup strategy of the state of Lower Saxony. Appointments can be booked now.
