During the "Kulinarischer Zukunftstalk," scientists from the ZERN initial projects and junior research groups provided fascinating insights into their current research. The focus was on connecting innovations in agricultural and food research with practical approaches to sustainable nutrition, particularly in Lower Saxony.
The live webinars were broadcast from one of Germany's most innovative teaching kitchens, the Teaching Kitchen at the Sportpark Jahnstadion. This project is a collaboration between Culinary Medicine Deutschland e.V. and the Institut für Ernährungspsychologie at the Universitätsmedizin Göttingen. Representatives from these institutions were also present at all three sessions, actively contributing to the discussions on camera.
The ZERN research network, which includes the Universität Göttingen, the Stiftung Tierärztliche Hochschule Hannover, and the DIL Deutsches Institut für Lebensmitteltechnik e. V. in Quakenbrück, is working on transforming the agricultural and food system in Lower Saxony. With projects focusing on livestock farming, grassland management, and crop production, the goal is to lay the foundation for a more sustainable future in agriculture.
