After a three year development phase, the first ELCRACK^® systems were delivered to their users starting in mid-2008. The systems are high voltage generators used in the food industry for degermination or for improvement of extraction processes. For easier market launch, the DIL has reserved the right to use the Elcrack^® brand established by Krupp Maschinentechnik GmbH, Hamburg, twenty years ago.

The system newly developed at DIL sets consistently on the use of cost-efficient and highly reliable components in the field of pulsed energy supply. The electrodes’ systems were completely redesigned. They are now setting a new standard in terms of stability and ease of maintenance. ELCRACK^® systems are available in the performance ranges 5kW and 30kW. The delivery time is about three months.
