Lectures and brokerage event on Smart Process Control and Automation
We are happy to announce that the second HighTech Europe Workshop will be arranged alongside the 5th International Conference on the Food Factory for the Future held in Gothenburg (Sweden) on the 1st of July 2010. The focus is on innovative food processing and sustainable food production for the future. Food Factory 2010, emphasises important challenges that the food sector will meet in the future to satisfy consumer preference and needs and to accomplish a sustainable development.
The Smart Process Control and Automation session on the 1st of July will be organized under the umbrella of HighTech Europe. A selection of handpicked lecturers will provide an in depth overview on latest findings in the field of processes control and automation. Participate in the workshop and discuss these and other interesting topics with the experts and other interested colleagues.
In the afternoon, a Brokerage Event is following the series of lectures which is aimed at anyone from the business and/or science field interested in meeting other parties from certain technology fields in confidence. HighTech Europe in cooperation with the European Enterprise Network (EEN) is the organizer of this Brokerage Event.
HighTech Europe is a network project coordinated by DIL; it includes 22 partners from Europe and Australia and is aimed at strengthening the specialist knowledge and capacities in food processing research and development. Its objective is the establishment of a European Institute of Food Processing that shall contribute to strengthen the competitiveness of the European food industry. The Network of Excellence is supported by the European Union within the scope of the 7. Research Framework Program.
