DLG Symposium “Robots in Food Production III”

Interest is still high in the food industry for the use of flexible industrial robots in automated processes. This is supported by an increasing number of successfully implemented robot-based automation solutions. A steadily growing number of companies is eager to learn more about this technology and the respective improvements in the fields economy, quality and hygiene.

Based on these consideration, the DLG is again organizing a symposium on robotics in the food industry. The event, among others with speakers from the DIL, will take place 24–25 March 2011 in Bremen.

Experts from the industry and the R&D sector will present and discuss latest developments including robotics in food applications, hygienic product handling as well as project management for the implementation of robots. Furthermore, users will introduce their experiences made with robot applications in food production.

This symposium is aimed at everyone intending to get an independent overview on the current state-of-the-art of this rapidly developing field. Here, you will learn more about the various possibilities an automation with robots will open up for your business. This event offers a good opportunity for gathering relevant firsthand-information and for getting in touch with different suppliers.
