ProSweets Cologne 2010
The DIL is presenting itself at ProSweets Cologne 2010, the international supplier fair for the confectionery industry, within the Robot-Pack-Line exhibit.
How do chocolate globes get from the production line into the box and on to the pallet? Integrated production and packaging solutions - this is what the Robotik-Pack-Line is all about. On a 700 sqm special event area at ProSweets Cologne 2010, this line shows - live and in action - how production and packaging processes can be cleverly linked, while increasing the degree of automation, reducing production downtimes and improving safety, hygiene and reliability. This can all be seen in a live demonstration in hall 10.1.
The German Institute of Food Technologies is one of the partners involved in the Robotik-Pack-Line. With its many years experience in application-related research and development of confectionery products, the Institute is the ideal partner for new developments and optimization - from raw materials and new technologies to innovative end products. During its three decades of existence, the DIL has compiled a comprehensive know-how in process development, characterization of materials and functionalization of ingredients.
Within the scope of the Robotik-Pack-Line, the DIL is responsible for providing guidance in terms of component design under consideration of hygienic safety and product handling.
ProSweets Cologne is an important trade fair for the entire range of suppliers to the confectionery industry. This includes special raw materials and ingredients, processing and packaging technologies as well as the packaging of confectionery products. The profile is rounded off by peripheral fields such as operating and auxiliary equipment, HVAC, food safety and quality management for the confectionery industry. At last year’s ProSweets, 307 exhibitors from 28 countries presented their products and services to about 14,700 trade visitors from 100 countries. ProSweets is constantly growing and provides an excellent platform for the exchange of knowledge.
ProSweets is taking place January 31 to February 3 parallel to the ISM, the world’s biggest confectionery trade fair, thus delivering a synergisms for visitors and exhibitors of both fairs. ProSweets and ISM present the entire value adding chain of the confectionery trade, from the raw materials to the products ready for sale.
