NieKE-Facharbeitskreis Qualitätsmanagement in der Lebensmittelverarbeitung
On July 5 2011, the sixth meeting of the working group Quality Management in Food Processing takes place in the course of NieKe (Lower Saxonian Competence Center of Food Industry) . Establishing a regular information exchange around the subjects food safety as well as quality management is a prior purpose.
The title of the sixth meeting: “Foreign body detection in food industry”
Mr. Andreas Jurewicz, Business Manager Metal Detection at Mettler Toledo will give a lecture regarding the use of metal detectors and X-ray inspection equipment while informing about several application areas within food processing. In the following, Dr. Knut Franke from the German Institute of Food Technology (DIL) will report about finalized research projects regarding the use of thermographic detection systems.
Besides technical solutions for quality assurance, there are the employees who have a crucial influence on safety and quality of our foods. Guiding and motivating them is a continuous challenge. In her presentation, Mrs. Kerstin Germann, expert for social coaching, will talk about the functionality of motivation as well as the fundamental characteristics of employee motivation.
