Discussion event ”Added value for food sector by transnational cooperation of food clusters in North Germany, Flanders and Denmark”
Initiated by the German Institute of Food Technologies (DIL), the County of Osnabrück, and the Nutrition Cluster of the Metropolitan Region Bremen-Oldenburg in North-West Germany, we would like to start a debate on how to enhance the networking activities of the food producing regions in northern Europe for their mutual benefit. We would like to invite interested parties to attend the discussion on 16 and 17 December 2010 at the Regional Office Lower Saxony, Rue Montoyer 61, 1000 Bruxelles, Belgium.
The event starts on 16 December with an evening reception in the premises of Lower Saxony’s representation at the European Union. The members of the DIL Board of Directors and the scientific advisory board will meet during this day in Brussels and will also be present at the reception. On 17 December 2010, a round table discussion is scheduled with the directors of the initiatives Flander’s Food (Flanders, Belgium) and Øresund Food Network (Denmark) as well as with representatives from the European Commission.
