DIL and Robotation Academy initiate information event “Food robotics

Solutions and trends for automation in food technology”

Flexibly applicable industrial robots become more and more important for automation in food processing due to current developments in this field. Because of the availability of this technology together with intelligent image processing as well as hygienic gripper systems, potential user can create distinct advantages for their manufacturing processes.

However, especially medium-sized food producers do not have the experience how to integrate robot-based automation in existing processes and what are the consequences for their internal operating procedures including qualification of staff.

In order to provide users with higher security, DIL and the Robotation Academy organize a one day seminar on 27 October 2011 in Hanover. On this occasion, current trends and new opportunities for the application of industrial robots are discussed. Among others, speakers of Kuka AG as well as ABB Automation GmbH will be present at the event on the Exhibition Site Hanover (Pavillon P36). Additionally, robot-based automation solutions relevant for food handling will be practically presented at the seminar.

Food manufacturers, who want to secure themselves a competitive advantage for the long term, should use the opportunity to taking in individual advice.

Participants who sign up until 30 September 2011 will benefit by the early-booking package.
