By train
Quakenbrück can be reached easily by public transportation (DB AG to Osnabrück or Oldenburg, NWB from Osnabrück or Oldenburg each hour)
By car
Quakenbrück is located off the Autobahn A1.
When coming from the direction of Bremen, take the exit Lohne/Dinklage. Turn left immediately after reaching the city (direction center), but turn left again after about 50 m onto the B 68 in the direction Bersenbrück/Osnabrück. Then take the next exit on the right (direction Quakenbrück). After the traffic roundabout take the second street on your left (Kuhstraße, which leads to Prof.-von-Klitzing-Straße) and DIL is on your right-hand side.
When coming from Osnabrück, take the exit Holdorf and follow the signs to Quakenbrück. Take the first exit left off the B 68 to Quakenbrück. After the traffic roundabout take the second street on your left (Kuhstraße, which leads into Prof.-von-Klitzing-Straße)
